SharePoint Online Document Libraries recently received this welcome feature to easily setup new document templates. On any Document Library, Click on New -> Add template. Although this functionality existed before, now it is available with a single click for any contributor.

The Edit New menu is equally handy making the management of Document Templates and associated Content Types a breeze.

The occasional frustrating breaking changes are offset by beautiful surprise additions like these :)
This is a fantastic addition to SharePoint Online! The new "Add template" and "Edit New menu" features really streamline the process of setting up document templates, making it so much easier for contributors to manage and organize their libraries. Being able to do this with just a single click saves a lot of time, and I love how intuitive it feels. Managing Content Types has always been a bit of a task, so it's great to see Microsoft making these small but impactful updates. Kudos to the team for continuing to improve the user experience, even if it means dealing with the occasional hiccup along the way!
